Stay informed about emergency notifications on your phone with the 112-Netherlands app. Whether it's a fire, accident, or medical emergency in your area, this app will provide you with instant updates. And now, it even includes background information (112 News). You can view the notifications on interactive maps, see photos of the area, and easily share the updates with your friends.
What's more, the app comes with 7 unique ringtone sounds that can be used for notifications or as your phone's ringtone within other apps.
The 112-Netherlands app delivers 112 emergency messages in the vicinity of your mobile phone as well as in locations you specify. It provides all the relevant and up-to-date P2000 notifications from the C2000 network of emergency services, including police, fire department, ambulance, KNRM, and others in your area. You have the ability to determine which locations are important to you through the app's settings.
PLEASE NOTE: The police in many regions have very limited use of the P2000 notification system. In certain areas, there may be few or no police notifications available.
To respect privacy, house numbers are anonymized, and the content of the notifications comes directly from the network of emergency services and is enriched with specific data whenever possible.
The 112-Netherlands app also features a search function that allows you to look up notifications in the vicinity of a zip code, city, or street.
Most notifications in the app are linked to Google StreetView and Google Maps, making it easy to navigate and share with friends.
The 112-Netherlands app is the modern version of a CB radio. Transform your phone into a pager for the Pager 2000 network.
The P2000 messages in this app are derived from the public portion of the C2000 network. The notifications come directly from the emergency service control rooms. This app is not affiliated with or connected to the control rooms or emergency services. It is an independent initiative.
There are no rights derived from this application in any way. The creator is not responsible for the content and reliability of the notifications. The service may be temporarily interrupted or permanently discontinued at any time without providing any reasons.
